⚠️ IMPORTANT: No Refunds After Use

Flirton.ai operates on a "no refund after use" policy.

Once you send your first message, create a character, or use any Premium/Unlimited feature after subscribing, you are no longer eligible for a refund. By subscribing, you explicitly waive your right to a refund upon usage of the service.

1. Refund Policy Overview

Flirton.ai is a consumption-based service where value is delivered immediately upon use. Similar to streaming services like Netflix or Spotify, once you begin using the service, the product has been consumed and cannot be "returned."

We offer a free plan with 20 messages per day to allow you to fully test Flirton.ai before committing to a paid subscription. This ensures you can experience the service risk-free before making a financial commitment.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you acknowledge that refunds will not be provided once you have used the service, except in the limited circumstances outlined in this policy.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are ONLY available in the following circumstances:

✅ Eligible for Refund:

  • Unused Subscription: You subscribed but have NOT sent any messages, created any characters, or used any Premium/Unlimited features, AND you request a refund within 48 hours of payment.
  • Technical Error: A verified technical issue on our end prevented you from accessing the service (with proof via support ticket and server logs).
  • Service Downtime: Flirton.ai was unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours during your billing period (prorated refund or credit).
  • Duplicate Charge: You were accidentally charged twice for the same subscription (Stripe processing error).
  • Unauthorized Payment: Your account was compromised and a subscription was purchased without your authorization (requires verification).

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following situations:

❌ NOT Eligible for Refund:

  • Service Used: You have sent one or more messages, created characters, uploaded images, or used any paid features after subscribing.
  • Change of Mind: "I changed my mind," "I don't like it," or "I found a different service" after using Flirton.ai.
  • AI Response Quality: Dissatisfaction with AI-generated responses, character behavior, or content quality. AI outputs are probabilistic and may vary.
  • Account Termination: Your account was suspended or banned for violating our Terms of Service or Content Policy.
  • Partial Period: You used the service for part of your billing period and want a refund for the unused portion. Subscriptions are billed in full for the entire period.
  • Exceeding Quotas: "I ran out of messages too quickly" or similar complaints after using your allocated quota.
  • Forgotten Subscription: You forgot to cancel and were charged for a renewal period (auto-renewal is clearly disclosed).
  • Third-Party Issues: Problems with your payment method, bank, or currency conversion fees.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases, Flirton.ai may provide refunds, credits, or goodwill gestures at our sole discretion for:

  • Extended Service Outages: If Flirton.ai is unavailable for more than 48 hours, we may offer prorated refunds or account credits.
  • Critical Bugs: Severe technical issues that prevent core functionality, verified by our engineering team.
  • Billing Errors: Errors on our end (not Stripe's) that result in incorrect charges.
  • First-Time Subscribers: In extremely rare cases, we may offer a one-time goodwill refund for first-time subscribers who contact us within 24 hours of their first payment with a legitimate issue.

These exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Flirton.ai reserves the right to refuse refunds that do not meet the criteria outlined in this policy.

5. Refund Request Process

If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the criteria above, follow these steps:

📋 How to Request a Refund:

  1. 1.Contact Support: Email us at support@flirton.ai with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. 2.Include Required Information:
    • Your account email address
    • Stripe order/transaction ID
    • Subscription plan (Premium or Unlimited)
    • Date of purchase
    • Detailed reason for refund request
    • Any supporting evidence (screenshots of errors, etc.)
  3. 3.Wait for Review: Our team will review your request within 5 business days. We may request additional information or verify your usage logs.
  4. 4.Receive Decision: You will receive an email confirming approval or denial of your refund request with a detailed explanation.
  5. 5.Processing: If approved, refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

Important: Do NOT initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider before contacting us. See Section 7 for our chargeback policy.

6. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your Flirton.ai subscription at any time. Here's how cancellation works:

🔄 Cancellation Process:

  • How to Cancel: Go to Account Settings → Subscription → "Cancel Subscription" or email support@flirton.ai
  • Immediate Effect: Your subscription will be marked as "Canceled" but will NOT renew at the end of the current billing period.
  • Access Until Period End: You will retain full access to Premium/Unlimited features until the end of your paid period.
  • No Prorated Refund: Canceling your subscription does NOT entitle you to a refund for the remaining time in your billing period.
  • Revert to Free Plan: After your paid period ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan (20 messages/day, 3 characters).

Example:

- You subscribe to Premium on November 1st ($9.99/month)
- You cancel on November 15th
- You keep Premium access until November 30th
- No refund for the unused ~15 days
- On December 1st, you revert to Free plan

7. Chargebacks

⚠️ WARNING: Chargeback = Immediate Account Termination

Filing a chargeback with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting Flirton.ai support will result in immediate and permanent account terminationwithout the possibility of appeal or refund.

Why Chargebacks Hurt:

  • Flirton.ai is charged $15-25 in fees for each chargeback, even if we win the dispute
  • Excessive chargebacks can result in Stripe terminating our payment processing
  • Fraudulent chargebacks are considered theft of services

Our Policy:

  • If you file a chargeback, your account will be immediately banned
  • We will contest all chargebacks with evidence (usage logs, accepted ToS, etc.)
  • If you win the chargeback, your account remains permanently banned
  • If we win the chargeback, you are still charged and your account remains banned
  • Chargeback fees may be billed to you separately

ALWAYS contact us first at support@flirton.ai before initiating a chargeback. We are here to help resolve legitimate issues.

8. EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have certain rights under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive).

🇪🇺 EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

EU consumers have a 14-day "cooling off" period to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. HOWEVER, this right is waived if:

  • You have explicitly consented to the immediate performance of the service (which you do when subscribing to Flirton.ai)
  • The service has been fully performed (i.e., you have sent messages or used paid features)

When you subscribe to Flirton.ai, you are presented with a checkbox that states:

"I agree to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that I will lose my right of withdrawal once I begin using Flirton.ai's paid features (sending messages, creating characters, etc.)."

This is in compliance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, which allows waiver of the withdrawal right for services that have been fully performed with the consumer's prior express consent.

Exception: If you subscribe but do NOT use the service at all within 14 days, you may request a full refund under EU law. Contact support@flirton.ai with proof of non-usage.
