Intellectual Property Protection

Flirton.ai respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how we handle copyright complaints and requests for removal of allegedly infringing content.

This policy complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512) and applicable international and European Union copyright rules.

This Policy is part of and incorporated into our Terms of Service and should be read together with our Content Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to any text and image content available on the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Chat messages generated or sent by users
  • Character descriptions, names, and backstories
  • Images and avatars uploaded by users
  • AI-generated outputs displayed through Flirton.ai (text or images)

It governs how rightsholders can request removal or restriction of content they believe infringes their rights and how users can respond to such requests.

2. User Content & Responsibility

Flirton.ai allows users to generate, upload, and share content ("User Content"). While the Service uses AI models to produce outputs, Flirton.ai does not create, endorse, promote, or validate User Content or AI-generated content. The user who initiates or uploads the content is solely responsible for ensuring that it is lawful and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Your Responsibility

By using the Service, you agree that you will not use Flirton.ai to upload, generate, or distribute content that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity rights, or any other proprietary or personal rights.

3. Deepfakes & Non-Consensual Content

Strictly Prohibited

You are strictly prohibited from using Flirton.ai to create, request, or share:

  • •Deepfakes or synthetic media that depict real people (including celebrities, public figures, or private individuals) in sexual, intimate, violent, or humiliating contexts without their explicit consent.
  • •Any non-consensual, invasive, or exploitative content, including "revenge porn" or other similar material.
  • •Any content involving minors (real, fictional, or presented as minors) in any sexual, romantic, or fetishized context.

Consequences: Violation of this rule may lead to immediate removal of content, permanent account termination, and possible reporting to relevant authorities.

4. Respect for Intellectual Property

You must only upload or generate content for which you have the necessary rights and permissions. This includes:

  • •Using only images and avatars that you own or are licensed to use.
  • •Avoiding the unauthorized use of copyrighted characters, logos, or artwork.
  • •Not copying or reproducing text from books, movies, games, or other copyrighted works without permission (except where allowed by applicable law, such as fair use or similar exceptions).

5. How to Submit a Copyright or DMCA Notice

If you are a copyright holder or an authorized agent and believe that content on Flirton.ai infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice to our designated contact. To be effective under the DMCA and similar frameworks, your notice must include:

Required Information:

  1. 1.A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the allegedly infringed copyright.
  2. 2.Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list of such works.
  3. 3.Identification of the infringing material with enough information to allow us to locate it on the Service (e.g., account name, character name, chat ID, URLs, screenshots).
  4. 4.Your contact information, including your full name, postal address, and email address.
  5. 5.A good faith statement that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. 6.A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury (for U.S. notices), that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

By submitting a notice, you acknowledge that we may forward its contents, including your contact details, to the user who posted the allegedly infringing material or to relevant authorities if required.

6. EU & International Rightsholders

Rightsholders in the European Union or other jurisdictions may also use the procedure described above to request removal of content that infringes their copyright or related rights under local law. We will review such notices under applicable law, including relevant EU copyright and platform liability rules.

Flirton.ai may, where required, restrict access to content in specific territories or globally, depending on the nature of the infringement and legal obligations.

7. Counter-Notice

If your content has been removed in response to a copyright or DMCA notice and you believe that the removal was a mistake or that you are authorized to use the material, you may send us a counter-notice.

Your counter-notice should include:

  1. 1.Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email.
  2. 2.Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. 3.A good faith statement that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. 4.For U.S. users: a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district of residence (or where Flirton.ai may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent.
  5. 5.Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name may be treated as an electronic signature).

Please note that submitting a false or bad faith counter-notice may have legal consequences under applicable law.

8. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and similar laws, Flirton.ai may terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, the accounts of users who are considered repeat infringers. This may include users who:

  • •Receive multiple valid copyright or DMCA notices relating to their content.
  • •Repeatedly upload or generate infringing or clearly unlawful content, including deepfakes or non-consensual material.

We also reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts for a single serious violation, particularly where the content involves minors, non-consensual explicit material, or other highly harmful conduct.

9. AI-Generated Content & Ownership

The Service uses AI providers to generate content based on user prompts. While there is ongoing legal discussion about the exact status of AI-generated works, Flirton.ai treats the user who initiates the generation as the primary party responsible for the legality and rights associated with that content.

Your Agreement

By using the Service, you confirm that your prompts and any resulting AI-generated content do not infringe on third-party rights, and you agree to indemnify and hold Flirton.ai harmless from any claims arising from your use of AI-generated outputs.

Flirton.ai may use User Content and AI-generated content for the purpose of operating, improving, and securing the Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Misuse of This Policy & False Claims

Submitting false, misleading, or bad faith copyright complaints or counter-notices is prohibited and may have legal consequences. This includes:

  • •Claiming rights over content you do not own or are not authorized to represent.
  • •Using copyright or DMCA notices to harass or silence users without a legitimate legal basis.

Flirton.ai reserves the right to deny or limit access to the Service to any person who abuses this Policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update or revise this Copyright & DMCA Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be communicated via in-app notice or email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
